EACC was founded to provide the banking and payments infrastructure that environmental attribute markets need and that registries do not provide. Escrow, netting, working capital, and cash settlement for an asset class that mature financial institutions have not yet moved to support at scale.

The company is built and operated by financial markets practitioners — people whose careers were spent inside the clearing, settlement, and asset management infrastructure that this market is now ready to adopt. EACC’s job is to bring that discipline to a new asset class.

Rick Ness
Chief Executive Officer
Rick is a serial financial-services operator with thirty years building, leading, and turning around regulated businesses. He has served as President or CEO of multiple firms across finance and fintech, sits on the boards of several portfolio companies, and is a former member of both the Quebec District Council of IIROC and the board of the Investment Industry Association of Canada. Dobson Centre Fellow (McGill), YPO member.

Tahnya Baloukas
Chief Operating Officer
Tahnya brings direct operational experience from Canada’s largest securities clearinghouse, where she held a consultative role covering information technology and analytics. She has also worked in compliance at Mylo Financial Technologies and in research and valuation at Tactex Asset Management. John Molson School of Business.
